Dr. Kucera grew up in Waverly, NE before attending Doane College where he played baseball and earned his B.S. in Exercise Science. During his junior year, he sustained a back injury that left him without feeling in his legs and led to a back surgery which he was told would lead to the end of his baseball career as well as all recreational activities. The back injury was the catalyst that led Dr. Kucera to seek chiropractic care for the first time. After going through a full course of care, Dr. Kucera beat the odds and was able to return for the opening day just three months later. It was then that Dr. Kucera committed to becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic which he earned with an honors designation.
Upon graduation, he moved back to Nebraska to practice in Elkhorn. Dr. Kucera lives in Elkhorn with his wife Rebekka and their two sons Landen and Laiken. In their free time, the Kucera family loves traveling, getting outdoors, and rooting for the Huskers. In the fall you can find the Kucera family at the softball field cheering on Elkhorn South where Rebekka coaches. Dr. Kucera’s mission is to pay it forward and give others the chance to get back to doing what they love.
